PARK CREW
Lake Arvesta Farms is hiring Park Attendants to work at Arvesta Sport Complex during Summer 2022!
Under the direction and supervision of the General Manager, provide supervision in and around the waterpark, children’s play area, dry land activities, park entrance and at the top of the slides. Also must maintain equipment, help with events and tend to the general tidiness of support areas of Arvesta Sport Complex.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains a safe environment for all patrons

Controls access to the water slides and enforce all water slide and aqua park rules and regulations.

Responds to emergencies following established protocols
-
Supervises locker areas and assists with life jackets and grounds reporting any problems to the General Manager
-
Performs maintenance duties of the aqua park, cable park, grounds and locker areas, including sweeping, mopping, washing windows, emptying trash and any other task deemed necessary by the General Manager
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Be at the facility, in uniform and ready to work, at the designated start of the work shift.

Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationship with fellow staff members, management staff, volunteers, and the public in a courteous and tactful manner

Attend all required staff meetings and training

Work closely with the Aqua Park Department staff to ensure Arvesta Sport Complex rules, policies, and procedures are observed and enforced.

Reports directly to and perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Typical Qualifications

Be at least 14 years of age (with a work permit)

Must complete Crew Training (provided). This training includes CPR and First Aid.

CABLE PARK OPERATOR

FRONT DESK ATTENDANT

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

As a Waterpark Desk Attendant, you are responsible for serving as a cashier and fielding guest questions and concerns
-
Greet guests and take admissions at the main entrance
-
Handle all sales at the lobby, such as lockers, rental equipment, etc
-
Operate Point of Sales system, including maintaining cash drawer and credit card processing
-
Assist guests in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner
-
Clean and stock restroom areas on an hourly schedule
-
Clean lockers and clear items at end of the day
-
Maintain and log lost and found items
-
Assist with guest check-in for party rentals
-
Enforce all waterpark rules and regulations to ensure the safety of guests

KITCHEN MANAGER

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for aiding in the organization, coordination, training, and supervision of the preparation of hot and cold food production. They also will help oversee the maintenance of quality and/or portion control, and the maintenance of sanitation and safety standards. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the work of the line-level kitchen staff as well as any other day to day kitchen functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with the Head Chef

Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

Preparation of all menus and meals (i.e., brunch, lunch, and dinner – including appetizers, desserts, and hot and cold snacks)

Makes sure correct food handling practices are being used by all staff

Handles and resolves any food-related issues, or complaints from guests or staff

Able to run all kitchen stations in the absence of or tardiness of cooks, dishwashers, or other kitchen staff members

Makes sure all closing duties are carried out correctly by kitchen staff and assist in the closing process of the kitchen

Checks the work of closing staff to ensure the line is properly stocked and ready for service the following day, that the dishwashing area is clean, and the dish machine is properly cleaned, drained, and shut down

Checks stock of prepared items at the end of the day and with the help of the closing cooks creates a comprehensive prep list for service the following morning
-
Ensures proper rotation and storage of all products
-
Helps forecast and order food and supplies
-
Assists Chef in the research, development and testing of new recipes and menus.
